Welcome! My name is Joanna and I am the founder of Olim Clay Co. In the summer of 2020, amidst the chaos of a pandemic, job changes, personal loss, and much more, I started working with polymer clay. I quickly recognized this material as so much more than just something that could keep my hands busy. It became a way for me to feel creative again, a way to appreciate the natural world, and a way to bring joy to others. Olim Clay Co. jewelry is designed with intention and purpose. Each piece is entirely handmade and thoughtfully crafted to spark a conversation, remind you of a favorite vacation, or bring a bit of the outdoors in. We care deeply about creating jewelry that is designed to last, which informs our choices about both materials and processes. "Olim" is a Latin word meaning "one day" or "once upon a time," and it was selected in recognition of that one small moment during a hike or one quick photograph of a beautiful place that can change your life.
